Host: Free State Foundation. This seminar is part of the Free State Foundation’s “New Directions in Communications Policy” project, which includes a series of programs featuring members of FSF’s prestigious Board of Academic Advisors who are contributing to a book of essays titled New Directions in Communications Policy. The book, a major conference early next year, and this fall’s program series will address a range of today’s most significant communications policy topics and will propose forward-looking reform recommendations. With a new President and new Congress taking office in January, FSF’s “New Directions” project will develop fresh ideas for adapting communications policy to the rapidly changing communications marketplace. Each seminar session will be structured to offer an opportunity for audience members to share their views. A complimentary lunch will be provided.
