Dedication of new Civil War marker in Jefferson, PA June 27, 2009

Public dedication of the new Pennsylvania Historical Marker commemorating Jefferson's role during the 1863 Gettysburg Campaign. Reenactors will ride through the town square, the historical society and local officials will dedicate and unveil the new marker, and author and tour guide Scott Mingus will briefly discuss the Civil War events in Jefferson that led to the new marker. The public is welcome!
