Deciphering Construction Plans and Specifications October 6, 2011

This course is beneficial to both field and office personnel and is designed to provide students with the foundational knowledge of reading and interpreting plans and specifications for construction projects. Topics covered will include: the process-concept to operation; information transmission; plans and specs organization; title block layouts; sheet numbering standards and protocols; construction specification institution (CSI) standard; architectural plans; structural plans; civil plans; mechanical plans; electrical plans; and specifications.
