Lead by Ethiopian-American jazz saxophonist Danny Mekonnen, Jamaica Plain's Debo Band plays world jazz. Their recently released debut EP, Flamingoh (Pink Bird Dawn) documented the band's trip to East Africa in Winter 2010.
