Death To The Strange are 5 lads with a passion for making genuine & interesting music. Unafraid to experiment with unusual noises and tackle real life topics in their lyrics, their songs are sharp & philosophical, yet instantly memorable, speaking to the most hardened souls.

Their unique sounds & song craft have earned them acclaim, a limited edition vinyl release with a Manchester-based independent record label & high profile support slots (Gomez, Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly, James Walsh (Starsailor), Mark Morriss (Bluetones) & George Borowski). Whether singing to strangers in the street, to a sell out crowd or cascading from your speakers, Death To The Strange never fail to inspire and enrapture their audience.

Consistently playing the gig circuits in & around Salford and Manchester they have built a sturdy reputation not only on talent and musical ability, but also on professionalism, attention to detail & delivery of an enigmatic & creative performance every time they play. They have performed in some of the cities’ more reputable venues including The Royal Exchange Theatre, played many festivals including Kendal Calling & have worked with many radio stations including live studio performances for stations such as 94.4FM Salford City Radio & live events for Key 103.

After much anticipation, Death To The Strange are releasing 'Sign On‛, a 4 track EP combining tracks both penned & vocally performed by Daniel Clarke ('Sign On‛, 'Openshaw Blues‛) & John Lowndes ('Paper Nest‛, 'Drink and the Devil‛).

The music video for 'Sign On‛ also due for release in April, is being directed by Jason Merrells (Emmerdale) & will star fellow Emmerdale actor Dominic Brunt.
