Death Cab for Cutie April 24, 2008

Formed in Bellingham, Washington back in 1997, Death Cab for Cutie began as a solo project for singer/songwriter Ben Gibbard. The underground success of his self-produced cassette 'You Can Play These Songs' Chords' inspired Gibbard to recruit a full-time band. In the summer of 1998, Death Cab for Cutie issued their debut LP, 'Something About Airplanes,' to much acclaim from indie circles. They've gone on to issue six albums, including the current release, 'Narrow Stairs.' Rilo Kiley's Jenny Lewis is joined by the Watson Twins (Chandra and Leigh), performing tracks from her solo debut, 'Rabbit Fur Coat.'
