Chris Peters paints in the style of Rembrandt and the old Masters but breathes new life into the genre by adding a touch of pop-surrealism sensibility. This approach, along with his flawless composition and wonderfully executed interplay of light and shadow, connects the viewer to an accessible space directly between Museum and Modern Gallery.

Chris Peters trained and now teaches at the Gage Academy of Art, which focuses on academic painting techniques.
