deadline: light leaks 2008 exhibition March 21, 2008

Kerala Gallery is hosting its second annual toy camera/pinhole exhibition in 2008. Entries are now open for consideration.

Light Leaks 2008

* Exhibition dates: April 3 - 16
* Opening night 2nd April 6:30 8:30
* Closing dates for submissions 22nd March 2008
* All work to arrive at the gallery Saturday 29th March between 10am-4pm

The entry process is very easy. Simply email your images as JPEG files (approx 600px @ 72 dpi) to [email protected] for selection.

Our key aim is to sell the work that is exhibited and to showcase a truly excellent presentation of photographic art. The gallery will receive a 20% commission on work sold.

Entry requirements are:

* Each image must not exceed 20" x 20" overall dimensions.
* Images must be framed.
* Submission fee $55 per image, student price $33.

The gallery will provide the following:

* Design and printing of invitations
* Food & alcohol for opening function
* Exhibition space for 2 weeks
* Track and cable system for hanging framed work
* Curation and hanging work
* E-mail invitations to 200 people on mailing list
* Ongoing web advertising and sales of work
