Dead Rose is an original rock band hailing from Syracuse. They won the 2005 Syracuse Area Music Award (SAMMY) for "Best New Artist." Along with Originals, Dead Rose plays covers by AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Godsmack, Guns n Roses, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Kiss, Metallica, Motorhead, Motley Crue, Megadeth, Nickleback, Ozzy Osbourne, Pantera, Poison, Van Halen, Dokken, Ratt, Scorpions, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Thin Lizzy, Velvet Revolver, Wolfmother and many more.
