Dead Poetry Slam October 30, 2007

In honor of All Hallow’s Eve, the North Star Café’s Port Veritas poetry night hosts a DEAD POETRY SLAM. Prospective readers are asked to bring three poems by the dead writer of their choice, and the rest is up to them: costume or no costume, rotting stench of death or clean as a whistle; it ought to be an interesting night. With a guarantee of good poetry, which is always a relief. The free event also features house DJ MYSTERY MACHINE and a staged reading by the AMERICAN IRISH REPERTORY ENSEMBLE; it begins at 7 pm on 227 Congress St.
