'Dead Flowers' features the works of many artists paying tribute and inspired by the work of actor/director Timothy Carey. Uniting an intergenerational group of artists, the exhibit adresses shifting methodologies, ideals, aesthetics and working models, expressed in works from the late 60s and 70s. The exhibit aims to confront the relationship between alternative and mass culture by highlighting artists who align themselves with communities outside the mainstream.
