From the Latin soul! This concert will present the music of Argentina and Spain as well as a second half dominated by Mexican composers. Celebrate the rich
musical flavors of the Latin culture in our opening season concert.
Bryan Pezzone, one of Los Angeles’ premier pianists, is soloist for the virtuosic and alluring Nights in the Gardens of Spain.

Following last’s season’s wonderfully successful performance, “The Best of Mexico and the USA” the 2008-2009 season will begin with another spirited tribute to Latin culture, taking works from the Tango enthusiast, Astor Piazzolla, and Mexican composers Silvestre Revueltas, Arturo Marquez and Blas Galindo. This same evening, one of Los Angeles’ premier pianists, Bryan Pezzone, will solo on De Falla’s “Noches el los jardines de España (Nights in the Gardens of Spain).”
