The DC Improv Comedy Club is featuring a special local comedy showcase in our Comedy Lounge. DC is notorious for launching the careers of such comedy greats as, Dave Chappelle, Lewis Black, Tommy Davidson and Wanda Sykes. Four local comedians will be performing. If you are looking for a great night out, then look no further.

Seaton Smith: Applying smooth charisma to a layer of explosive energy, topped off with unforgettable characters sure to permanently reside in your brain, Seaton Smith leaves his audience in a state of comedic euphoria as he killed performing on Opie and Anthony "Virus" tour and the "New Faces" show at Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. He also is a online phenom signing a deal with Sierra Mist where he was able to showcase his chops at producing the skit "Pimpin Referee." And he's a youtube favorite with his popular webseries, Annoy Charlie Smith Inc.

Herbie Gill: Herbie Gill is a DC area native whose entertaining sense of humor has been featured across the country. As a true student of the craft of comedy, audiences and fellow comedians alike notice Herbie's passion and dedication to stand up. Changing expectations and skewing stereotypes, this young comic can finesse any crowd with professionalism, style and wit. Herbie's hard work and knack for presenting fresh new material earned him appearances on many stages and programs, including XM Radio, Comcast Cable, and Local Point TV for ABC.

Jeff Maurer:Jeff Maurer is one of DC's most promising young comics. He has been featured on XM Satellite Radio and Comcast on Demand, and also won the 2009 Funniest Fed Contest, the 2008 Drafthouse Comedy Challenge, and the May 2005 DC Improv Comedy Showcase. A DC resident, he was recently featured at the Bentzen Ball Comedy Festival and has been seen at clubs and colleges up and down the East Coast.

The DC Improv Comedy Lounge will be serving a full dinner menu and drinks. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Show is at 8 pm.
