Dayton Ballet: the Nutcracker December 14, 2008

Inspired by Tchaikovsky's beautiful music, 'The Nutcracker' has become and irreplaceable annual tradition for famlies across the Miami Valley. It features the late local philanthropist, Virginia Kettering as a young girl dreaming about her Uncle Drosselmeier's handsome gift. She is joined onstage by and amazing group of characters - white mice, marching soldiers, Russian princes, a Chinese Quartet, shepherds and the lambs, the Snow King and Queen and the Sugar Plum Fairy.
