Day Without a Bag Day December 18, 2008

December 18th is the annual "Day Without a Bag" day in Southern California. It is spearheaded by non-profit group Heal the Bay (www.healthebay.org). Many retail stores, libraries, city halls and grocers throughout the southland will be giving away free reusable shopping bags to encourage everyone to bring their own bags for any shopping trip and be eco-friendly.
