Walk Distance: 8 miles Walk Level : Beginners
The event is fully guided by qualified mountain guides and the Yorkshire Dales provide one of the best walking areas in the country covering a wide variety of scenery and some isolated locations.
Chapel-le-Dale is a broad U-shaped dale that stretches from the outskirts of Ingleton, and rises up to to the Ribblehead Viaduct where it narrows into a V-shape before merging into the upper moorland of the Yorkshire Dales. The sides of the Dale are the slopes of Ingleborough on one side and Whernside on the other, with the third of the three peaks - Pen-y-Ghent - in neighbouring Ribblesdale. The landscape is characterised by the unusual feature of limestone scars, and the traditional dry-stone walling.

Besides the attraction of the natural beauty visitors are drawn to the Dale for the White Scar Caves, Ingleton Waterfalls Trail and the Ribblehead Viaduct & Settle-Carlise Railway.
