Day of the Dead at Besito October 29, 2010

Besito, voted by AOL City Guide diners as Long Island’s Best Mexican Restaurant, will be celebrating Day of the Dead from Friday, October 29th to Monday, November 1st. Festive specials are as follow:

*Sopes de Frijol $12
Handmade tortillas stuffed with slow cooked pinto beans and chorizo, topped with queso fresco.

*Chile Ancho Rellenos $22
Two ancho chiles stuffed with beef picadillo over a roasted red bell pepper chipotle cream salsa.

*Pescado Tikin Xik $24
Pan seared chilean sea bass marinated in achiote, over a sweet plantain puree topped with a pickled onion salad.

All Besito locations will feature traditional Day of the Dead altars.
