Day in the District: Family Activities September 29, 2007

The museums of Fort Worth’s Cultural District, the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, and Log Cabin Village announce the inaugural Day in the District, a celebration of the exceptional cultural assets of our city, the Gateway to the West.
With three world-class art museums housed in three of the nation’s most important architectural accomplishments, a science museum with interactive exhibits and one of the largest IMAX theaters in the world, and the only museum dedicated to honoring the accomplishments of women in the American West, Fort Worth stands out as the Southwest’s capitol for arts and culture. In addition to the great museums in the Cultural District, Fort Worth offers incredible performing arts organizations, from theater to music, that entertain and enlighten.
