UPDATED: David Weinberger will be in SF to talk about his new book, Everything Is Miscellaneous and hang with other bloggers.

Of course, non-bloggers are welcome too.

25 Books will be given away to the first 25 bloggers who claim them. David will be signing them and give a little talk about the book.

dumb question, but if that's an email pasted above, is there an rsvp address? does commenting here count? some things may be miscellaneous but what if they're not extraneous? 4000 characters is a lot for a comment box. they should give some to twitter.

I'll be there--and wrote a post today about the reasons why. I'm an old blogger from the early, early days who lost the fire after the blogosphere became mainstream. But I miss it and am looking to get it back. Maybe this event could be a useful step in that process. Weinberger was one of my primary influences in getting started in blogging. It will be a thrill to finally meet him. Thanks for making it possible.
