The multi-faceted singer and actor David Johansen has forged a career as a member of the New York Dolls, his party animal alter-ego "Buster Poindexter" and with his folk/blues ensemble the Harry Smiths among other projects. His acting credits include roles in 'Scrooged,' 'Married to the Mob,' 'Cupid,' 'OZ' and appearances on 'Saturday Night Live.'
