-----> ADRIAN H & THE WOUNDS
will be supporting their new self-titled Projket Records release.
If you’re unfamiliar with Adrian H…we’re extra pleased to make the introduction!
Adrian H has been described as “a man who writes crime scene songs”
He can be thought of as “influenced by Nick Cave and choreographed by Tim Burton”
He’s got “a gravelly deep voice that whispers somewhere between Tom Waits and Lux Interior”
His music has been described as “Boris Karloff singing dark lullabies in your ear as you sleep”
It’s dark and delicious and will send shivers down your spine in the best possible way!

Both bands will also be performing a selection of songs from their new collaborative album 'Toxic'.

-----> COMET PING PONG!
Why do a show at a ping pong & pizza parlor? Because it’s awesome, that’s why!

You can come early and have some great wood fired pizza for dinner and perhaps a game of ping pong. Then you can head into the back room for a great live show! With a sound system from the 9:30 Club, you know it’s gonna rock the second the band steps on stage!

Comet is located on Connecticut Avenue NW directly in between two metro stops, Tenleytown or Van Ness. Street parking is fairly easy in the area as well.
And for those of you who arrive early...there is a parking lot behind the Comet. Lot is accessible via Nebraska Ave or 36th St. The back entrance is under the "Thai Room" sign (Comet used to be a Thai restaurant in the 60s-90s.)
