Canadian singer-songwriter David Francey returns to Sony Brook University’s University Cafe to perform as part of the venue’s Sunday Street Acoustic Series. Francey, a Scottish-born Canadian who has released eight critically acclaimed albums, recently released Seaway, a collaboration with Mike Ford (formerly of Canadian pop band Moxy Fruvous). Known for spiking his performances with entertaining storytelling and wry humor, Francey combines astute observation, stunning craftsmanship, and an open-throated singing style that have earned him a reputation for delivering the live goods.
