Exploring the myriad ways that contemporary culture pervades our identities, Blandy explores how we create ourselves using the very media that we soak up in our daily exposure to it, through the TV and films we watch and games we play.

Blandy’s work has gained international reputation with exhibitions at the ICA, London, Platform China Project Space, Beijing, Künstlerhaus Stuttgart, Germany and BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Gateshead. This talk is an excellent opportunity to see and hear more about the ideas and inspirations behind his artwork.

Odysseys is curated by Lighthouse and presented in partnership with Phoenix Brighton for Brighton Digital Festival, and is supported by Arts Council England.

Brighton Digital Festival is a celebration of digital culture. It is run by members of Brighton’s digital and arts communities, administered by Wired Sussex in association with Lighthouse.
