A five time Grammy nominee for his extraordinary and seminal contributions to contemporary jazz, David Benoit has also embarked on a multifaceted journey into the classical music world. This has led to guest conductor spots with numerous top symphonies and philharmonics. Benoit has been performing and recording since 1977 and is credited with being a pioneer in the music genre which would become known as smooth jazz.
