Dastkar Cotton Exhibition August 7, 2008

Dastkar Andhra, a non-profit organisation working to promote the cotton handloom industry, is organising its annual exhibition-cum-sale. Choose from a vibrant collection of saris, hand block printed and kalamkari dress materials, dupattas, khadi in natural dyes and a range of furnishings from across Andhra Pradesh. A photo essay and exhibition on handlooms printed on hand woven fabric, titled ‘Weaving Stories in Light, Shade and Colour’ by Pankaj Sekhsaria, is also being put up at the same time.
