Dark Meat features a cast ensemble of 14 members, including former and current members of Neutral Milk Hotel, Olivia Tremor Control, Elf Power and many other Elephant 6 bands. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, the band plays indie/acoustic/folk music and features Matt Berger (drums, percussion), Brian Perez (keys, glockenspiel, lap steel, percussion) and Jeffery Boyd (bass).
