Danny Glover to Interview the Legendary Activist Artist Harry Belafonte for Local Youth Leadership and Arts Organization April 9, 2005

Glover will interview Belafonte live about his international music career, human rights activism, and humanitarian work. Paul Robeson, Jr. will present Belafonte with the ?Paul Robeson, Here I Stand? award for activism in the arts. The historic interview will highlight Belafonte?s many contributions in entertainment, African and children?s aid efforts, and leadership role as a prominent African-American in turbulent times. He will deliver a powerful message for today?s youth and aspiring activists and artists.
