Daniel Mate, a recipient of a Jonathan Larson Grant and the ASCAP Foundation's Cole Porter Award, has written lyrics, music, and/or books for new works such as The Trouble With Doug (with Will Aronson); The Story of Jo-Beth; Middle School Mysteries; and an untitled song cycle currently in development under the direction of Victoria Clark.
