SAN FRANCISCO, CA, APRIL 21, 2012: Internationally renowned music artist Tara Priya will be returning to her hometown of San Francisco for one night only this April 21st, gracing the intimate stage of Hotel Utah Saloon. (500 4th St., SF SOMA) A bundle of melodic energy, the native will be welcomed with many open arms after having toured extensively in Europe and Japan over the last several months.

Teaming up with Tara will be local SF powerhouse Dangermaker, whose intense indie sound is finally getting the notoriety it deserves. Just before recording their debut album, singer Adam Burnett suffered a devastating loss in the family. While a tragedy such as this could stifle and even destroy artistic motivation, this strong quartet endured and produced a brilliant piece. Now back from SXSW, DangerMaker is ready to rock their old romping grounds.

Also on the bill is Salty De Vito, a soulful, rowdy alternative rock sound. Utilizing the lofty vocals of female lead Ali Field, this 6-piece recorded their debut at Prairie Sun Studios (Tom Waits, AFI) here in the Bay Area. They’ve been rocking local spots with their thick, refined sound with increasing success.

This event promises to sell out as tickets are set at a modest $8 presale, $10 at the door. Music starts at 9pm.
