Dance Workshops - Arts In Motion Turns Five: New Dance Floor Launched. Five years ago Arts in Motion (Sion) was launched by Aanchal Gupta , opened as the citys only dance institute offering dynamically different dance styles under one roof. Today, it once again proves its serious intent to the cause of dance. Wanting a larger area in space starved Mumbai city is like asking for a piece of heaven. Arts in Motion celebrate its fifth birthday by quietly spreading itself over yet another floor. AiM reiterates its commitment to promoting dance by adding a whole new dance floor to the studio. This makes it easily Mumbai citys largest space ever devoted to the promotion of dance, it boasts of a clear 1,000 sq. feet of wooden floor whose each lovingly handpicked slat bears silent testimony to teacher creativity and student commitment, public appreciation and owner pride. Todays Arts In Motion offers the most number of dance styles right from Casino Rueda & Salsa to Bollybics and Bboying. Also Capoeira, Krumping, BellyDancing, Hip Hop and Jazz and many more dance forms. To celebrate its fifth anniversary and their new floor, Arts in Motion presents a series of back-to-back Dance Workshops, Dance Performances, Dance Nights & more! From 12th to 14th June, the event will bring more and more people closer to enjoying dance!. There will be workshops on Flamenco, Bollybics (Bollywood Aerobics), Argentine Tango, Salsa, Belly dancing and Hip-hop. Even new dance forms like Bollywood Odissi (combining classic Odissi moves with contemporary dance steps), Bboying, Krumping and the passionately South American styles of Casino Rueda and Bachata. Also for the first time presenting sessions on Bollywood choreography and Ramp Walking.
