Join us to celebrate New York's Second Annual Dance Parade! . Showcasing all forms of dance with everything from Ballet to Breakdance—you'll be dazzled by breathtaking performances at DanceFest, free dance lessons and a dance party. After gathering between 27th and 28th between Broadway and Sixth Avenue, The Parade will kick off at 1pm, with Grand Marshals Luigi (the Father of Jazz Dance), Jonathan Peters (DJ Times ranks him as #1 DJ in America) and more leading over 5,000 dancers as they boogie, salsa and swing down Broadway turning East on Saint Mark's Place to Tompkins Square Park.
4-8 pm DanceFest--A four hour free festival with breathtaking staged performances, social dancing, dance lessons and a DJ party at Tompkins Square Park.
