Dance of the Indian MAYAS and AZTECAS September 28, 2003

A native Mexican group performing the ancient music and dance of the Indian MAYAS and AZTECAS will be in Hong Kong for one week.

This is a FREE CONCERT on Sunday 28th September, at HK Cultural Centre (indoor), Tsimshatsui. 4:00 - 6:00 pm.

A MAGICAL JOURNEY TO THE PRE-HISPANIC WORLD.

The performance places emphasis on stories and legends and explores how ancient man might have constructed musical instruments, put them to use and named them.

HUEHUETL which means "ancient" is a four piece musical group (2 couples)
that interprets indigenous dances and music from Mexico. The group's mission is to inform the communities in the world of the true riches pre-Columbian cultural history.
