Dance Colective Annual Winter Concert January 22, 2011

Experience an evening of new dance works by Chicago's The Dance COLEctive led by Margie Cole. TDC offers three world premieres: founder/director Margi Cole's 'Pull Taut,' inspired by Malcolm Gladwell's ideas about "the power of thinking without really thinking"; Cole's collaboration with Jeff Hancock, 'Chocolates and Dynamite (working title),' which explores why we are often our own worst enemies; and Liz Burritt's 'I,' a glimpse at failure and being failed. Making a special appearance is Menz Dance of New Trier High School in Winnetka, performing a work Cole created for them called 'Maelstrom.'
