Dan Tyminski is that solid oak of a musician rooting celebrated bluegrass group Alison Krauss and Union Station to the stage day in and day out on the road for well over a decade. His voice, filled with gravel and bass and loneliness, stands in for George Clooney as the main vocal in 'Man of Constant Sorrow,' in the film 'O Brother, Where Art Thou?' The song won the 2001 CMA award for best single as well as a Grammy Award for best Country Collaboration with vocals. All in all, Dan has won 10 Grammy awards for solo and collaborative projects. And he's not stopping yet. The all-star Dan Tyminksi Band plays high-energy traditional bluegrass and features Dan on guitar, Ron Stewart on banjo, Justin Moses on fiddle, Barry Bales on bass, and Adam Steffey on mandolin.
