A middle-aged man finds himself endlessly frustrated that his beloved baseball team is constantly thwarted by the New York Yankees. In desperation, he sells his soul to the Devil for a chance to lead his team to victory. Yet as success and fame get closer, he finds himself yearning for the life, and the wife, he left behind.
