I STAND CORRECTED charts jazz musician Jennifer Leitham’s extraordinary rise to the top as a “virtuoso of the upright bass”. John Leitham built a career by playing with some of the best, (Mel Torme’, Doc Severinsen, Woody Herman), and then had to rebuild it as Jennifer Leitham. The film explores Leitham’s enlightening story of success and survival, of betrayal and compassion, and the risks one takes to embrace who they truly are. Directed and produced by Andrea Meyerson, the film has won multiple awards from juries and audiences across the USA.
