Dallas Architecture Forum presents : Peter Bohlin January 17, 2008

The Dallas Architecture Forum continues with award-winning architect Peter BOHLIN who will speak about his latest work on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Magnolia Theatre.

From timber houses that seem magically tied to their sites to the new Apple Stores from New York’s Fifth Avenue to Tokyo’s Ginza, Bohlin Cywinski Jackson has earned a leading place in American architecture today. Their work combines rigorous planning and geometry with a poetic demonstration of materials and light. Recipients of over 340 design awards since the firm began in 1965, Bohlin Cywinski Jackson were named the American Institute of Architects' Firm of the Year in 1994. Bohlin has also been honored as one of the Architectural Digest 100.

LECTURE VENUE CHANGE FOR THE 2007-08 SEASON
The Dallas Architecture Forum’s Lecture home, the Horchow Auditorium of the DMA, will be closed most of our season for renovation. The Forum is pleased to announce that all lectures for our 2007-08 season will be held at The Magnolia Theatre, located in the West Village, 3699 McKinney Avenue, Ste 100, Dallas, 75204.
