The Dallas Architecture Forum continues its 13th season of lectures with Chilean architect Mathias KLOTZ as this years Rose Family Lecture on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. at the Magnolia Theatre, 3699 McKinney Ave. in Uptown Dallas. A reception begins at 6:15 p.m. The Lecture Benefactors are Dallas Architectural Foundation and the UT-San Antonio College of Architecture. The Reception Underwriters are Kathleen + Alan Munoz.

Born in 1965, Mathias Klotz is an important leader among the emerging generation of architectural talent in South America. His elegant designs draw their poetry from a conversation among site and materials and space. In 2001 he won Italy's Borromini Prize for Best Architect Under Forty, and has been a finalist for the EU's Mies van der Rohe Pavilion Prize. His work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale and is published widely, including monographs from 2G and Phaidon. See mathiasklotz.com for more information.

Single tickets, available at the door only, are $20 for general admission and $5 for students with I.D. Dallas Architecture Forum members are admitted for free.
