The Dallas Architecture Forum continues its 13th season of lectures with Austin architects Juan MIRO and Miguel RIVERA on Thursday, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Magnolia Theatre, 3699 McKinney Ave. in Uptown Dallas. The Lecture Benefactors are bultaup dallas and Megan + Casey McManemin.

Coming from Spain and Puerto Rico respectively, Miró and Rivera bring fresh voices to the Texas and increasingly, to the national architectural scene. Their dialogue between overall idea and critical detail is demonstrated by a footbridge over a pond, a project that is becoming iconic. Winners of numerous national and state awards, the work of the firm is published in Britain’s Architectural Review (cover), Architectural Record, and in the forthcoming As Built: Detail from Princeton Architectural Press. For more information on the firm go to the end of this release or visit mirorivera.com.
Single tickets, available at the door only, are $20 for general admission and $5 for students with I.D. Dallas Architecture Forum members are admitted for free. The reception begins at 6:15 p.m.
