With more than 20 years combined performing with bluegrass giants Ricky Skaggs and Doyle Lawson, Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent joined forces in 2007 to create the bluegrass duo Dailey & Vincent. They went on to win seven 2008 International Bluegrass Music Awards, including Album of the Year and Entertainer of the Year—an award they won again in 2009. The Associated Press says, "With Dailey's nimble tenor and Vincent's reedy harmonies, the duo immediately joins the ranks of Flatt & Scruggs, the Osborne Brothers, Jim & Jesse, and other great bluegrass duos." The band's most recent albums, Brothers from Different Mothers and Dailey & Vincent Sing the Statler Brothers, both debuted at the top of the Billboard Bluegrass chart.
