D.H. Melhem Reads from New Novels, STIGMA & THE CAVE October 4, 2007

New York poet, playwright, novelist and literary critic D.H. Melhem has electrified audiences across the U.S. with her in-person readings of her work. Now, she's coming to the LBC to present selections from her two latest novels, STIGMA & THE CAVE. Published in April 2007 by Syracuse University Press, they comprise Books II and III of the trilogy PATRIMONIES.

Stigma is a dark political satire on the association among government, the military, and industry; The Cave is a fantasy about a nuclear attack on the United States. Together, the trilogy speaks to the legacy we are leaving to future generations.
