Cynthia Nixon to Host City Harvest’s 17th Annual “An Evening Of Practical Magic” April 13, 2011

Cynthia Nixon, Emmy, Tony and Grammy award-winning actress, will host City Harvest’s 17th annual “An Evening of Practical Magic” on Wednesday, April 13th at Cipriani 42nd Street (110 East 42nd Street). The evening will include cocktails and a silent auction at 6:30 pm, followed by an awards presentation, dinner and live auction at 7:30 pm. Thanks to the support of Barclays Capital and the generosity of the City Harvest Board of Directors and the Event Co-Chairs, 100% of the ticket price will directly support the efforts of City Harvest to feed hungry New Yorkers. Tickets range from $750 to $2,500 and tables from $10,000 to $50,000.

City Harvest’s “An Evening of Practical Magic,” which pays tribute to the efforts of individuals and organizations who have gone above and beyond in their commitment to help City Harvest feed New York’s hungry, will honor Bill Koenigsberg, President, CEO and Founder of Horizon Media.

Last year’s event raised $1.3 million for City Harvest and attracted 500 guests. It was hosted by Al Roker and honored Tom O’Brien, President and General Manager, NBC Local Media New York, NBC4/NBC Universal and James D. Kallman, Chairman of the Board, City Harvest.
