Cut The Funk is an original Jazz Funk, Soul & R&B band consisting of some of Kent's most established musicians on the professional circuit. Their debut album Weekend Coda has been received with enormous critical acclaim, receiving great reviews absolutely incredible (Jazz FM), Devastatingly good (Hayes FM). Cut The Funk are being described as a cutting edge band in British jazz funk scene and are highly recommended as a must see band for 2013.

The band features Paul Jobson (keyboards & vocals), Dudley Ross (guitar), Tony Rico (saxophone & flute), Joe Sam (bass) and John Sam (drums). Dudley and Paul recently performed alongside legendary guitarist Robben Ford, modern day British rockabilly artist Imelda May together with blues artists Andy Fairweather Low, Chris Barber and Paul Jones. Tony Rico has been on tour with Sam and the Womp and Bad Manners. Joe and John Sam have been on tour with Maybe Winehouse.
