Curve - an installation by Castillo - Reception 4/14 April 14, 2007

In this new solo exhibition Castillo creates an installation using paper that references the tendrils and tresses of her best-known work with hair. Using materials that are both commonplace and yet emotionally charged, Castilllo taps into a rich source of myth and social taboo to create work that is intensely personal and also universally human.
