Currier & Ives Christmas December 6, 2008

Guests will be treated to an old-fashioned Christmas in the country, starting with a feast of roast ham, chicken pie, fresh green beans and red potatoes, washed down with wassail and topped off by a dessert of homemade bread pudding. Victorian carolers will entertain visitors with traditional Christmas songs.

After dinner, the party will sing traditional carols, roast chestnuts, and "deck the halls" with boughs of fresh holly. The evening's highlight will be a country dance with vintage waltzes, polkas, quadrilles and the like called by Pa Riley and accompanied by the music of Riley's Dance Ensemble.

Festivities begin at 6:00 p.m.
