Curious Travels is an art exhibition featuring the works of Ayu Tomikawa and David Higgins, running from October 17th to November 4th. The opening reception will be held on Saturday, Oct 20th from 4pm to 8pm. Regular studio hours are from 11am to 8pm Monday-Friday and 11am-6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

From the event website:
Two of our most popular artists, Ayu Tomikawa & Dave Higgins, have teamed up for Curious Travels, which depicts the recent adventures of their well-loved characters. The show includes new sculptures and paintings from Dave, as well as Ayu's woodblock prints starring Hato, everyone's favorite space alien. Whether it's Hato traveling to the moon, or the Birdhouse Blend Birds zipping around in their new cars, you are sure to enjoy the trip. And the best part: there's even a bit of cross-pollinization, with Hato appearing in Dave's sculptures and Ayu using bird costumes in her prints. Come see what these talented artists have been up to!

A message from Ayu:
I am having two person show titled "Curious Travels" at the Studio Gallery with David Higgins.
Since it is two persons show, we did some collaboration theme pieces as well as regular new works.
You might see a couple of old pieces you have already seen (we have to fill up the entire walls so it was inevitable to do so) but mostly the walls will be filled with fresh ones.
David Higgins is an amazing sculptor/painter and you should definitely see his works.
Since this is such a late reminder, I am not surprised if you already have plans for this Sarturday, but if you happen to be free that evening, the opening reception is between 4pm-8pm at Studio Gallery so please stop by.
