The CULVER CITY SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, in its ongoing commitment to young musicians, presents its annual concert featuring younger winners of the orchestra sponsored Parness Concerto Competition. The concert, “A Concert of Firsts,” is Saturday, May 12, 2012, 8:00P.M., is under the direction of Conductor-Frank Fetta.

It will be at Veteran's Memorial Auditorium, 4117 Overland Avenue, Culver City; at the corner of Culver Boulevard and Overland Avenue. Free parking is available. This will be the orchestra’s first concert in Veterans Memorial Auditorium after it was closed for repairs and refinishing.

This On Our Way Up concert features Nathan Le, age 12, cello, winner of the competition’s Junior Division, and Leah Hansen, age 16, cello, an Intermediate Division winner.

The admission charges are $15-General Admission and $10-Members of the Westchester Symphony Society, with membership available at the concert.
