Culinary and Design come together for First Thursday at The Art Institute of Portland March 5, 2009

On view is a group gallery show, “It’s the Little Things,” organized by artist and faculty member Justin Auld. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet our new Culinary Director, Chef Ken Rubin, and sample delectable treats prepared by local food artisans.
Artists included in the gallery show include: Drew Anderson, Justin Auld, Steve Beatty, Horia Boboia, Meredith Dittmar, Terry Dote, Harrell Fletcher, Meredith Hamm, and Laurel Kurtz.
“It’s the Little Things” is an exploration of a small shift in perspective. The work selected for the show offers a playful departure from the expected interaction with your everyday surroundings.
This show will be on exhibit through March 28, 2009.
Gallery hours are: Mon-Thur, 9-6; Fri, 9-4; Sat. 9-2.
