Dinner Party Records, a music and art collective from San Francisco, brings the sounds of San Francisco's underground indie and electronic scenes from coast to coast. After blowing up the showcase and release party at the Los Angeles Architecture and Design museum, we're packing our bags and heading east to New York. Come hear what's going down in SF.

LIVE MUSIC

Cubik & Origami
Known for previous works on hip hop/downtempo label Wide Hive, these two guys play funky, chaotic midtempo with live vocals, bass, and turntablism, along with a blitz of morphing electronics.

George Cochrane
His alter ego is busy as a house music producer and remixer (Origami), but tonight he'll be playing music from his new Dinner Party release "The White Pinecone," fusing indie pop with dirty electro grit, live vocals and bass.

Jason Paul Heiselmann
Heiselmann, singer and guitarist of local SF band French Miami, will be visiting his more contemplative side, a kitchen-sink approach to electronic pop with a focus on indelible songs and sonic innovation.

Compulse
With his gritty, minimalist approach to composition, Shawn Allen (Compulse) blends dub and IDM to form a unique, intensely rhythmic sound that's at once playful and introspective.

VIDEO ART
Blackmoth
Originally from Texas, Blackmoth (Also known as Kari Altmann) has been sharing her colorful and glitched out vision of the world too exciteable internet stalkers and museum goers alike.
