2299 South Street
Coventry, Connecticut

Dot (rdng tchr) will be leading the August meetup on Sunday, August 9 in Coventry.
10:30am: Coventry Farmers' Market
2299 South Street - Coventry, CT

MEETING SPOT: The best place to meet will be at the entrance 'gate' right near the front of Nathan Hale Homestead. The parking lot is a giant field, then people just need to head to the front (facing the road) part of the house. The big landmark is "Keifer's Kettle Corn" since they have a bright red canopy.
Members may choose to photograph the farmer's market and/or the Nathan Hale Homestead. Though the market does not officially open until 11, Dot warns that it gets very busy very quickly, so it is best for the group to meet a bit early.

Each weekend the farmer's market has a different theme. The theme for the week will be Young Farmer's Day. Bob Bloom (Drumming About You) will also be performing that day.
12:30pm: Leave for lunch at Willington Pizza
2pm (approximate): Cassidy Hill Vineyard
454 Cassidy Hill Road - Coventry, CT

The group will start with a free tour then members can shoot on their own. Wine tastings are $5 per person if you are interested, and bottles of wine are available for purchase.
This is another month where RSVPs are particularly important. If you will only attend part of the meetup, please specify which part. Cassidy Hill wants to make sure they have adequate staff available and may bring in an extra person, depending upon the number of people attending. Dot will be calling about a week in advance with a headcount.
